How Libra tends to show up
Libra opens at the September equinox, when day and night are close to the same length, and its symbol is the only object in the zodiac: a pair of scales, for weighing one side against the other. It's cardinal, so it starts things, and it's air, so it starts them in conversation, usually by reaching out to someone else first. With Venus as its ruler, it tends to have an eye for beauty and a light touch with people.
Libra often does its best thinking with someone else in the room. In a tense meeting, it can restate each side so well that both feel heard. It notices when a friend has been left out of the conversation, and when a picture hangs crooked. Fairness counts in small things too, like whose turn it is to pick the movie.
Seeing every side can make choosing one hard. Libra may put off a decision for weeks, or agree to plans it doesn't want, just to avoid a scene. A deadline, even a self-imposed one, gets it unstuck. Its own opinion deserves a seat at the table, and disagreeing kindly is part of being close.
